Students may work alone or in groups of two.
The student(s) will select and propose to the instructor a unique ISD method to research and present on. Primary ISD methods that were using during the 6010 course should be avoided.
The topic and abstract of the ISD to be research should be posted to the moodle no later than January 28th. Groups must be announced by this date.
Once approved, the student(s) will prepare an in-depth report to be posted to the moodle. It is expect that the report will be between 1500 and 2000 words in length, excluding references. The paper will conform to APA format. Student(s) will make a brief 5 min oral overview of the posted paper on February 7 (i.e. no power points).
Student(s) will make a 10-15min formal presentation on the method during the class meeting on February 14.
Additional discussion will be held within the moodle.
The purpose of this assignment is to cover as many different instructional design methods as possible in order to create a depth knowledge about strategies available and a reference on these methods that can be used in the future by the students.
