Part 1 (6 pts)

Assignment 2.5 create 4 seamless textures and 1 3D image

  1. Create 4 seamless textures
  2. Take a photo that can be used in a texture and then make it seamless
  3. Create a web page using each texture as a background.
  4. You can use the following web HTMLcode to show your graphic.
    • Copy and paste the code below into a text file and name it texture1.html, texture2.html, etc.
    • Be sure to change the name of the graphic (graphic.gif) to your file name for each texture you want displayed on the web page.
    • When done correctly, you should be able to double click on the html file and launch it on your local browser.
    • When you have 4 html files and 4 gif graphics that work, upload the graphics and web pages into the same assignment directory on

Part 2 (6 pts)
  1. Locate and read, from any professional conference, journal, article, online source, two articles relevant on how graphics/textures are used and their importance in computer/video games. Write a two paragraph review for each article. The 1st paragraph should describe the contents of the article. The 2nd paragraph should be your reaction to the article. Do not forget to include the reference cite. Use APA format.
  2. Post to the class forum the written part of the assignment. One posting per article.
  3. Reply to at least two postings in a meaningful manner.
