CECS 5800.020 (Internet Course Online) 06/06 – 08/12
This Internet-coordinated course is for any masters or doctoral student who wishes to explore in depth the field of ubiquitous computing in education. Participants are expected to share sources and engage in online dialog; Participants will complete a 15-20 page research paper about one specific ubiquitous computing installation such as the Maine Learning with Technology Initiative, the Irving ISD Laptop Initiative, or one of the many handheld computer initiatives currently underway in our state and nation. Attendance at a national or international conference (NECC, EdMedia, etc.) to access firsthand the latest resources is not required but endorsed and encouraged.
