Assignment #1 - Vita in HTML

Produce a brief vita for yourself in Microsoft Word and convert it to HTML.  Use Netscape Composer to edit the product as necessary.  Come to class on the due date prepared to show your work by pulling it up on the computer in Netscape.

Turn in a printed copy of your vita in word, and a printout of the HTML version .

Due Date: WF: Saturday Oct. 3;  at the beginning of class

UNT: Tuesday 9/22, at the beginning of class

Assignment #2 - Net Browsing / Searching

1. At least one search should involve a Boolean Operator.
2. Write a brief comparison  of the different search engines, including the Boolean search completed.
3. E-mail  the summary (in HTML) to all members of your class and to arrowood@coefs.coe.unt.edu
4. Come to class on the due date prepared to show your comparison on the screen in a web browser.

Assignment #3 -  Paper/PowerPoint presentation 
    Write a paper (<2 pages) using the information found in assignment 2
     and produce a PowerPoint summary (5 slides) of the information.Ý
     Convert the presentation to HTML and present to the class. The paper
     must include at least 3 references (correctly cited) from the Internet.
Due Date:  WF:  No later than Saturday Nov. 14, at times agreeable with instructor and classmates.
